Hi! We’re Sophia and Socrates, partners-in-life. Back in 2019, we bet on ourselves and took a leap of faith and decided to do a complete 180 on our careers. We took our savings and launched a business renovating houses in Mazatlán, Mexico. We realized that the hustle and bustle of life really takes a toll on relationships, romantic and otherwise. So we decided to launch 35 Agave Co., named after the age we both were when we created it and our love of the agave plant (+ the 23 acre agave farm we cultivated that same year!).
Having each worked in publishing and entertainment places such as The New York Times, Live Nation Inc., SiriusXM Radio and The Law Offices of Robert A. Celestin, we decided to walk away from the corporate world to discover the world of entrepreneurship and to take a huge risk.
An ambitious goal for sure, but one that gives us full autonomy on our life schedules.
